    PROGRAM OVERVIEW

    Continuing Education Units (CEUs):

    Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) practicing in the state of California are required to renew their CNA certificate every two (2) years. Certificate renewal is successfully accomplished by completeing (48) hours of in-service training provided by a CDPH-approved CEU provider holding a NAC number. Certified Nursing Assistants may select available courses through Baldy View ROP to satisfy license renewal requirements. 

    Program: Continuing Education for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

    Level: Postsecondary Certification

    Total Program: 4 Hours/course

    Requirements for Enrollment: 

    • Complete Enrollment Application in person at the Career Training Center
    • Pay admissions fee during enrollment
    • Provide active CNA or MA license number
    • Present a photo ID
