    Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Overview

    The Registered Dental Assistant program prepares students for the Dental Board of California's Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) examination and employment as a chair side dental assistant. This rigorous course includes instruction in dental terminology, communication, interpersonal skills, ethical and legal considerations, pre-clinical scienes, preventive dentistry, radiology, dental materials, and basic chair side assisting. Students participate in clinical experience.
