History and Mission

Incorporated in June 1995, the Baldy View ROP Foundation is dedicated to supporting students served by Baldy View Regional Occupational Program. The Foundation’s mission is
“To develop community resources, relationships and partnerships to assist students in a lifelong learning process to become self-sufficient in an ever-changing world.”

The volunteer Board of Directors provides a wide range of expertise and professional skills in business ownership and operations, sales, education, health and law. Back to Top

Goals

To provide resources to students for their success

To provide loans and scholarships to ROP students enabling them to further their education

To provide state-of-the-art equipment

To solicit financial grants from public and private sources for educational programs and activities

To strengthen partnerships with the community in support of ROP programs

To identify and develop targeted areas of business and industry where training is needed

Scholarships

Each year the ROP Foundation awards scholarships to current or former Baldy View ROP students to assist them in continuing their education after graduation from high school. Scholarship applications are made available to students once a year.

Loans

Baldy View ROP Foundation student loans are available to assist Baldy View ROP students in continuing their education in ROP or another accredited institution. The loans are interest free unless the student defaults on the loan. The funds are a loan and are repayable to the Foundation. As loans are repaid, more funds become available to assist other students with their education.

Donations

The Baldy View ROP Foundation is committed to providing state-of-the-art equipment for Baldy View students and classes. Businesses and corporations across the country are becoming more involved in the process of improving the quality of education in our schools. The Baldy View ROP Foundation needs your help to improve the quality of career technical education at Baldy View ROP.

Vehicle Donations

Do you have an old vehicle, boat or RV cluttering your driveway?
The Baldy View ROP Foundation will pick it up FREE.
One phone call to the Foundation at (909) 980-6490 is all it takes. Your vehicle will be promptly picked up. We handle all of the paperwork. No DMV hassle, no smog, running or not. * Your donation will provide funding for needed resources, scholarships, and classroom equipment to prepare students for employment.
